What comes in the fruit, vegetable and salad box?
At least 10 items included, of a combination of salad, fruit and veg. Given the current climate this will be dependent on what is available, and what our local farmers are able to grow.
Where does the fruit and vegetables come from?
At the very start of the Corvid epidemic we spotted a supply chain problem. The wholesalers had existing relationships and supply streams with farmers and the food they were growing. Whilst restaurants were closing and there was no-one taking the food. At the same time, people were facing empty supermarket shelves. We adapted MOR to be a solution to that problem and be a connection between the restaurant wholesalers and the consumers.
What happens if you can’t get hold of something that I have ordered?
Given the current climate, all items are subject to change based on availability. Substitutions could be made for an alternative. If the only available alternatives are wildly different we will contact you to check if you are happy with the substitution.
What steps are you taking to stay safe during Covid-19?
When Covid first developed we identified an urgent need to redirect food from the restaurant supply chain direct to consumers. We were passionate that this happened in the most responsible way possible. Therefore, before opening we worked with a local health and safety consultant to develop a comprehensive risk mitigation assessment and plan based on WHO recommendations.
